What can I say about yesterday other than a fantastic course, fantastic people and long may this fixture last between these two great clubs !! Shropshire Star Team Challenge 09 May 2012
Today we took a team over to Bridgnorth GC to play in the Shropshire Star Team Challenge and although we did not manage to bring home the spoils, I had a totally enjoyable time with Andrew Morgan, Jason Pethard and Alan "Shankin' Stevens" Smith. Captains Match 3 – Home to Shifnal GC – 28 April 2012
Amazingly the weather held out for us and we all managed to avoid the rain. Course was in fantastic condition, and allbeit a little wet in places which is to be expected,the Shifnal team held the course in high regard - although the wind did play a big part in making the course long in places. Always a great fixture in our Lilleshall calendar, the annual tri-match with our close friends Ludlow and Shifnal. Well represented, we travelled over to Ludlow nice and early, arriving there at 11.30am.
