Captain / Pro Charity Match 2 – Friday 30 March 2012
Richard Beech and myself played match 2 of this year's busy schedule in the captain / professional charity matches. Great weather, and fantastic company with Dave Powell and Tony Riley. The match was nip and tuck on the front nine but with Dave boasting a very modest handicap of 14 decided he would play to single figures, great to watch, even without the aid of his driver which we kindly took away from him for the back ...

The 1st pairing of Richy Craggs and Howard Wright just fell short in their match, closely followed by Phil Harris and Nick Jones narrowly missing out, and final pairing of Lee Buttery and Darren Pountney ...

President’s Plate Quarter Final 1st Leg
What a fantastic result for the Hargrove B team today, fielding what was arguably a weakened squad through injuries and absence - missing the presence of team captain, Lee Buttery, Paul Coats through injury and Phil Harris through injury. Lilleshall Hall B 2 Oswestry B 1 and Oswestry are 1 hole up. We need to go to Oswestry on the 22nd January 2012 and get 1 1/2 ...
