ETIQUETTE
1. There should be no movement, talking or standing close when a player is addressing the ball or making a stroke.
2. No player should play until the players in front are out of range.
3. All players should play without delay.
4. Players searching for a ball should signal players behind to play through as soon as it is apparent the ball will not be easily found. Do not search for five minutes before doing so.
PRIORITY ON THE COURSE
1. Two-ball matches have precedence over and are entitled to pass any three or four-ball match.
2. A single player has no standing on the course.
3. Any match playing 18 holes is entitled to pass a match playing a shorter round.
4. If a match loses more than one clear hole on the players in front it must allow the match following to pass.
CARE OF THE COURSE
1. Rake and smooth all ball and foot marks in bunkers after playing, leaving bunkers for others as you would wish to find them.
2. Replace all divots on the fairways.
3. Repair all pitchmark damage on the green carefully. Pitchmarks NOT repaired immediately take up to one month to recover.
4. Avoid damage to the course and tees through taking practice swings and removing divots.
5. Keep caddie cars and trolleys off greens and tees and keep to marked routes on the course.
6. If you hire a buggy, be sure to follow the designated paths.THEY ARE THERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY. |
