Local Rules
The rules of golf at this Club are those adopted by the Royal and Ancient Club of St Andrews.
1. OUT OF BOUNDS:
a) All boundary fences and hedges.
b) The hedge commencing to the left of the teeing area at the 1st hole and ending at the public road by the 3rd teeing area.
c) The area to the right of the 10th fairway.
d) The ditch behind the 14th green and 15th tee.
e) The pool to the right of the 15th fairway and short of the 15th green.
f) The pool to the left of the 16th green.
g) The road and bank at the rear of the 1st tee and 9th green.
2. WATER HAZARDS
a) Those areas defined by yellow stakes.
b) Lateral Water Hazard (Rule 26-1). Those areas defined by red stakes.
3. Staked trees and all parts of the watering system are to be
regarded as immovable obstructions (Rule 24-2).
4. Stones in bunkers are deemed to be movable obstructions
(Rule 24-1).
5. A ball lying on an artificial surfaced pathway may be lifted and dropped not nearer the hole under no penalty (Rule 24-2b). |
